FFF is an ideal technology for separating nano particles and biotech materials prior to analysis by DLS or SLS and naturally complements Zetasizer SEC in flow mode for those who want a flexible and powerful system.

FFF technology with the AF2000 is applied to separate and characterize biopolymers, synthetic macromolecules, proteins, antibodies, liposomes and nanoparticles and used with DLS & SLS detetcion in order to determine  particle size and molecular weights. Centrifugal and gravimetric forces can also be used, as in the CF2000 and event be used to separate fractions of the material in a flow split as in the SF2000 and there are also thermal systems like the TF2000.

The system shown in the photograph is a complete AF2000 with autosampler, degasser, pumps, UV and RI detectors and a Zetasizer S for DLS. Postnova analytics  are based in Landsberg west of Munich, Germany and in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
